This fun diptych features a rare pairing of the same frieze pattern in two different colorways - one with gilt clouds and green rose vines, the other with blue clouds and green metallic rose vines. A mountain is framed beyond a lake in the distance between stately trees, with stylized Arts & Crafts-style roses in the foreground. This combination of roses and a mountain rather evocative of Mount Hood as seen from our home in Portland - the City of Roses - has led us to nickname this design the "Rose City Frieze."
