An outstanding and highly unusual Aesthetic-era paper featuring Spirograph-like circles with eye-catching accents in flitter - the term used by wallpaper manufacturers for heavy applications of glitter-like metallic sprinkles that often stood quite high off the paper's surface. This remarkable pattern is almost contemporary in its spirit, and many might mistake it for a product of the 1960s rather than the 1880s. One of our favorites.
The Robert Graves Company was one of the leading manufacturers in the country, with reliably beautiful designs and extensive distribution.
Mounted on ¾” bamboo plywood panel. Pattern No. 2713.
